Have you stopped praying, and you can feel your relationship with God drifting away? Perhaps your prayer wasn't answered just the way you wanted, or your life hasn't turned out according to how you dreamed it would be. You start grumbling, get discouraged and begin to blame God. All too soon you become infected with the "poor-me-itis" disease! That is a dangerous state of mind, and leaves you vulnerable to Satan’s attacks! Stop thinking you can "make it without God in your life," because you can't! That is Satan's lie! You have two choices and only two. You can choose to serve God, or Satan, but you can't "walk the line," and choose both! If you choose Satan, you will lose out on eternal life with Jesus and will be lost forever! Whatever has caused you to drift away, can’t be important enough to miss out on heaven! Fall on your knees today and pray, "Jesus Save Me! Your heavenly Father loves you with an everlasting love and is waiting and longing to hear those words! Remember, there’s nothing you’ve done that God can't forgive! Surrender your heart and life to Him today! Choose Jesus! Text: Luke 19:10, Is 59:1, Ps 34:18, John 14:27, 1 Thess 4:3-6

People who have accomplished much in their lives tend to be goal oriented. They have specific goals in mind, and then work very hard to reach them. Some goals are driven by selfish motives, but the goals of a Christian are different than others. When you surrender your dreams and goals to God, He will accomplish great things in you and through you. Before choosing your goal, ask for wisdom by praying, "Lord, is this the goal you have in mind for me? Is this the path you want me to go?" Choose the goal of living a "God-pleasing" life! It is only when you are following "God's Goals," that you will be truly happy and experience the abundant life God wants you to have. Ask Jesus for "Divine Appointments," for your day and then listen to the Holy Spirit's leading, as He guides and directs. You will experience incredible joy when you turn your life over to Him. Keep your eyes on the "Heavenly Goal," and receive the ultimate reward of eternal life with our Lord and Savior! Text: 1 Corin 2:9-10, Jer 29:11, 2 Corin 5:9

No matter what heartaches we have, there is something about "suffering" that draws us closer to Jesus. There are even those who don’t claim to be Christians who in their darkest hour - cry out to God! Just think, if everything always went smoothly in our lives, we wouldn’t know we need a Savior! There are many examples in the Bible where the children of Israel fell away from God, began worshiping idols and became so worldly that God allowed trials and troubles to bring His children back to Him. It is through our suffering that we truly learn to lean on Jesus! God will not forsake us, and no matter what burden we bear, we are not alone! God has a special plan and purpose for our lives, and we can trust Him to lead in the good and the bad times! Whenever we are "going through the fire," remember that God has not forgotten us! He has a plan for each of His children and it is far better than we could possibly imagine! Learn to trust God completely and above all, know this: Jesus loves you, died to save you, and is coming again soon to take you home with Him, where there will be no more suffering, tears, sorrow, or death . . . but each day will be more glorious than the day before! Text: Rom 8:18, 1 Pet 5:10, Rom 12:12, Heb 5:8

We have all heard the expression, "spend time wisely." That's because time is precious and it's important how you use it. In fact, in the judgment day, you’ll have to give an account to God for how you spent your time here on earth. Talking with God and asking Him for divine wisdom, will help you discern what is important and what is not. Unfortunately, time passes quickly, and before you know it you realize that you’ve spent your entire life focused on all the wrong things. There’s nothing in this world that compares to "eternity with Jesus!" Absolutely nothing! Time spent with Jesus is the most precious time of all! It is never wasted and will only enrich your life. Ask for God's forgiveness for the time you have wasted, and then invite Him to come into your life and guide each step you take. Increase your praise and worship time each day and allow God to transform you through this time alone with Him. You'll be surprised at how quickly your life will change. You will have renewed energy and strength and a passionate desire to witness and tell others about God! You’ll find that this special time with Jesus - will be the best part of your day! Text: Eph 5:15-16, Ps 119:105

When our own troubles seem too much to bear, it is easy to start questioning God as to "why" this is happening! Why is He letting the pain go on and on? Why doesn't He heal me? Why doesn't He just get rid of our enemies? Why doesn't He just fix things right now? But when you look at the lives of many Bible characters, we can see that God is patient and His timing is perfect! For instance, think how Joseph must have felt, betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused and thrown into prison! No one would blame him if he got angry and felt like God had forsaken him. However, Joseph trusted God! He stayed faithful! And His reward was great! Instead of asking God "why?" . . . ask for strength! Instead of wallowing in despair . . . have faith! Instead of doubting . . . Trust! God loves you, gave His only Son to die on a cross to save you, and is looking forward to eternity with you in heaven! Be patient, it’s worth the wait! Text: Ps 27:14, 1 Corin 13:4-5, Ps 62:5
